Now that we are home, on behalf of my wife and self I cannot let time slip by without writing to say a big “Thank you” for the way in which you made my wife and my holiday in Mauritius such a wonderful experience.
From the time we were met at the airport ‘till the time you left us there in the evening of our departure nothing, and I repeat nothing, was too much trouble for you. The tours you had arranged – including paying the deposit on the advance booking us on the Blue Safari Submarine – were excellent.
Your local knowledge took us away from the usual tourist trips, providing a personal dimension to the varied programme of sight seeing, which you provided. We shall always treasure swimming with the dolphins thanks to your arranging that we go out in a boat, owned by an excellent swimmer who accompanied us in the swimming.
During our time with you, we enjoyed the informative and open conversations, which we had on a variety of topics.
Both as a guide, and an ambassador for your island, you are unsurpassed - there can be no finer. Not only your local knowledge contributed to our memorable experience but also your professionalism as a driver was, in our opinion, the best we have experienced anywhere - our safety being of your paramount importance. Each time that you came to the hotel to collect us you were prompt and the car was always clean inside and out – even when it rained!!
At no stage did you ever ask for payment saying that everything would be settled when we were dropped at the airport.
I cannot close without saying how much your helpfulness in “negotiating” the final price I paid for the model of the CUTTY SARK was appreciated – Thanks!!

Occasionally one comes across a driver who stands out as extraordinary. Such driver is Sakhawat. We felt blessed to have him for our holidays in Mauritius. He was exceptionally reliable and courteous, with a quality of professionalism that one rarely finds. He was so attentive and caring we took to calling him friend!
We were in Mauritius in August 2006. Whenever we receive a service beyond expectation we like to say thank you and also recommend and share this information with other travellers as word of mouth is indeed the best advertisement.

The six of us had considered hiring a car to do this tour however it soon became apparent that we would not have seen anywhere near what we saw with Neushed. Nothing was a problem for him and his knowledge of the island and it's history really enhanced our trip.A day we will always remember. In order to get away from a hectic working environment my wife and I enjoyed a holiday in Mauritius for little over a week. Since this was just a short period of time, we tried to experience local hospitality and relaxation to the fullest. Even though we were thoroughly tired, we felt welcome as soon as the transfer from the airport to the hotel.
After a couple of days of laziness at a beautiful beach, we decided to dive into the hinterlands of Mauritius. Because our first impressions of Taxismauritius were safety and cleanliness with a sincere smile – something we found to be a rare combination in our experiences around the world - we decided to ask this organization if it was possible to discover the island by taxi.
At an extremely good transfer rates, Taxismauritius took us everywhere we wanted to go during a whole day, combining our outspoken wishes with a natural feel for suggestions based on our interests. Although Dutch isn’t one of them, we were able to get all the inside stories on the island in diverse languages mastered fluently by Taxismauritius (English, French,……) Thus, we drank in more of Mauritius than we expected, or dared hope, to do in just a week time. What a beautiful island, I must say, with so much more to speak for it than ‘just’ golden beaches and luxury.
As a marketeer I am concerned with an eye for customer satisfaction. During my stay in Mauritius Taxismauritius made me remember what is to fulfil the needs of individual customers, with an eye for detail. I gained a lot of respect for the client-friendly entrepreneurship behind Taxismauritius and can recommend it to everyone whom has a business or holiday-trip planned on the island, for transfers as well as sightseeing!
Taxis-Mauritius was great... always very prompt and did exactly what we agreed... no surprises! The driver helped us a lot. Using taxismauritius was like having your own private driver... it made the trip very pleasant with no worries. We are planning to make another trip to Mauritius and the driver Sakhawat was a BIG part ofthe reason we enjoyed ourtrip !

Arriving from Sydney, Australia, in late June 2006, my wife and I had the pleasure of using Taxis Mauritius for our transfers from SSR International Airport to Beau Rivage resort at Belle Mare on the east coast. I subsequently booked a one day tour of the Island's south because I was so impressed with the great service particularly the warm welcome, with your driver Sakhawat meeting us inside the airport with a sign with our names on. This made us feel very special indeed. The transfers and tour prices were most competitive and the best, with no hidden extras. No need to haggle for a reasonable fare with all the taxi drivers waiting at the airport either, and then adding extra for my wife and extra for baggage etc.
I had booked your company after finding your website during a Google search to find out the cost of taxi transfers in Mauritius.
The booking was done in November 2005 and my holiday was in June 2006. I must say the email replies I received over that time were extremely courteous and more importantly so helpful, not only about my transfers but in answering questions I had about arriving in Mauritius, as this was my first trip overseas.
What other taxi service in Mauritius or anywhere else in the world would complete all transfers and also a tour and only ask for payment on arriving back at the airport, 7 days later. Your trust that you put in us and no doubt in all your clients is more than anyone could expect, we really apreciate that fine gesture.
Lastly I must state that your driver Sakhawat is a fine ambassador for Taxis Mauritius and tourism in Mauritius. Nothing was a trouble or a problem. My friends will not believe me when I tell them that when we went on our tour I left my Visa card and my Rupees in the hotel safe and without asking, Sakhawat passed 1000 rupees to me and said, "is this enough to get you by today, or I can lend you more". On returning to Beau Rivage I asked him to wait so I could go and get the money to repay him. He said, "No worries, You can pay me when I take you back to the airport on the day you leave.
Furthermore, I handed the transfer, tour money and the 1000 rupees Sakhawat lent me, in an envelope and asked him to check it before we went into the airport and headed back to Australia. He put it in his pocket and said, "no need to check, I trust you!" Well I am happy to say that trust was honoured.
